depressed
just had tennis trials today.
and i think i can safely say i blew my chances well away to the south pole.
dejected
things just haven't been going the way i planned a month ago.
but i know i really should "always look on the bright side of life"..
tired
but sometimes it's just so hard.
mocks are a total failure on my part.
exhausted
and i still have 5 more papers to go...
excluding the number of modules in each paper.
jetlagged
slept at 1130pm the first night, woke up at 1, woke up every 20 mins,
got out of bed at 430am, studied.
c'est la vie
my new favourite phrase.

how long?

everyone who plays tennis
will tell you that the secret to an ideal shot
is to keep the racket on the ball for as long as possible.
many pull up too soon.
many don't give enough time for the ideal hit,
no matter how much they want to play perfectly.
but then again,
you can only keep the racket on the ball for so long.
after that,
there wouldn't be any point to hold it out there,
once the ball has left the racket,
flying towards your opponent.
so instead of looking like a doofus with your hand stretched out,
you pull up,
finishing the stroke.
